Principal's Message

It is with immense excitement and Pirate Pride that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Wheelersburg Elementary School. I am thrilled to join this community and to work alongside dedicated educators, enthusiastic students, and supportive families.

At Wheelersburg Elementary, our mission is to foster a nurturing and innovative learning environment that prepares our young learners for their futures. Our commitment to excellence and student-centered education is at the heart of all we do. We strive to embody the values of "TheBurgWay" by promoting growth, collaboration, and respect within our school community.

Having a deep-rooted passion for early childhood education, I am dedicated to supporting each child’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development. We are focused on building strong foundational skills in literacy and numeracy, nurturing curiosity, and fostering the social-emotional learning that is critical for success in today’s world.

Family engagement is a cornerstone of our school’s philosophy. I believe that strong partnerships between school and home are essential for student success. I invite you to be active participants in your child's learning journey and to engage with the various activities and events we offer throughout the school year. Your involvement strengthens the connection between our school and the community, enriching the educational experience for all of our students.
