We are excited to announce that Wheelersburg Elementary is participating in the Stay in the Game! Attendance Network! This initiative, in partnership with FC Cincinnati, focuses on improving school attendance and helping students build habits that lead to lifelong success! 
Did you know? Missing just 2 days of school each month can add up to chronic absenteeism! Regular attendance is especially important in elementary school, as students develop the foundational skills they need to succeed academically and socially.
Why does attendance matter?
Every school day is an opportunity to learn and grow. Consistent attendance helps students build strong academic skills and positive routines. Being at school helps students develop friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
We understand that illnesses and unexpected circumstances happen! Through Stay in the Game!, our goal is to partner with families, encourage positive attendance habits, and help students overcome barriers to attending school.
