Governor DeWine Visits Wheelersburg Elementary

Wheelersburg, OH – April 7, 2025 – Wheelersburg Elementary School received a special visit from Governor Mike DeWine, who recognized the school as a Governor's Science of Reading Champion. Governor DeWine engaged in a roundtable discussion with school staff, Principal Janeen Spradlin, and District Superintendent Mark Knapp, where they explored the school's successful implementation of the Science of Reading framework.
